India`s Greenply aims for 30 pct increase in export this fy
New Delhi (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Indian plywood and laminate maker Greenply (BSE:526797) said Saturday its export revenue is likely to grow by up to 30 per cent on the back of additional capacity coming up at its Nalagarh plant in Himachal Pradesh.
The company had laminate sales of Rs 630 million (US$13.5 million) last fiscal year in the overseas market, exporting around 8.5 million sq metres.
"We expect our export revenue to grow by around 25-30 per cent this fiscal over last year. After completion of the plant, we hope contribution from exports to our overall business will also increase in the coming years," Greenply Industries Senior Vice President (Finance and Accounts) Ashok Sharma said. At present, around 9 per cent of the company's overall revenues are from export.
