The Malaysian prime minister who is a descendant of a Gowa king was scheduled to arrive together with his wife, Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor, in Gowa district at 12.45 local time but there was a delay of three hours in the schedule.
Gowa district head Ichsan Yasin Limpo said the arrival of Najib was delayed because the descendant of the 19th King of Gowa was preparing to put on a Gowa traditional dress.
Premier Tun Razak will take part in the inauguration of the `Monumen Patunru` monument at the Syech Yusuf Discovery square. The monument is decorated with paintings or pictures of Gowa kings from the first king to the 36th one.(*)
