Third Annual Pacific Rim Policy Exchange to be held in Singapore from October 14-15

Washington (ANTARA News/PRNewswire-AsiaNet) -- Americans for Tax Reform along with the Property Rights Alliance, International Policy Network, World Taxpayers Association, and Acton Institute, is sponsoring the third annual Pacific Rim Policy Exchange in Singapore, October 14-15, 2009.

The two-day networking conference will be held at the Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel and provides a unique, centralized, high quality forum for the open exchange of the best practices and strategies on property rights, tax policy and other pressing issues facing this region.

The conference will hold six panels of specialists from across the world, with three panels presenting per day: Access to Medicines, Land Reform in the Pacific Rim, International Tax Competition, Removing Barriers to Trade, International Intellectual Property Challenges, and Income tax reform in Asia: Replace income taxes by consumption taxes. The conference will also feature a Coalition Building lunch with remarks from the president of Americans for Tax Reform, Grover Norquist followed by a dinner featuring key note speaker William McGurn from News Corporation.
